Greetings Friends & Family! February 2010
We have been in language school now for a month. At times it has been overwhelming, but with God’s strength we are learning and adjusting. We spend about 4-5 hours of day in classes and then we have several hours of homework. Part of our homework includes traveling around town and practicing Spanish with the public. They prefer we find 8-10 people that we can practice with regularly.
Even though sometimes it feels hard to make an impact while studying so hard, I believe there are several ways God is using us here. Not only is He preparing us for Mexico, but we
are able to share His love with the individuals we interact with each week. God opens doors where we least expect it. This week during interaction, Heidi was able to encourage and pray with a new believer! His timing is perfect.
The kids are adjusting to all the changes and surprise us every day with new Spanish words. Kenan is in a Spanish speaking daycare. Nicolas is in a bilingual Kindergarten and Josiah is in 2nd grade with 1 hr of Spanish each day.
Thank you for your continued prayers and financial support. Please continue to pray for our health and safety. Pray for our needed financial support to come in regularly each month. We pray that God will richly bless each of you beyond measure.
In His Service,
